Intensive In-Home Appointments
Our Intensive In-Home Therapeutic Services are designed to provide frequent and structured time-limited therapeutic intervention services to children who are at high risk of being placed in professional treatment centers or foster care due to major behavioral health issues.
Behavioral Health Services for the Whole Family
We believe in supporting the entire family when it comes to behavioral therapy for a person with autism. At Athena Behavioral Center we welcome family in some sessions and plan for support for the family.
Behavioral Health Services
Athena Behavioral Center specializes in therapies for people between the ages of 18 months-21 years old. We provide services at home and in the center with children over the age of 12 receiving in-home services. Athena Behavioral Center’s EIDBI program uses ABA therapy modality. ABA is Applied Behavioral Analysis. ABA therapy is a science that seeks to understand, predict, and change behavior. Most professionals who work in the field of behavior analysis work in behavior intervention for children with ASD, an approach used to shape the behavior of children. We will only be addressing ABA as an intervention therapy for children with Autism.
A Behavioral Health Center for Ages Under 21
Early Intervention Developmental and Behavioral Intervention (EIDBA) is a service offered by Minnesota Health Care Programs. This benefit is designed to help people who are under the age of 21, are enrolled in medical assistance or related programs, and have been identified as having an autistic spectrum disorder or a condition that is connected to it. The age range served by Athena Behavioral Center is 18 months to 21 years old. Services can be provided to children between the ages of 18 months and 12 years both at home and in the facility. In-home services will be provided to children over the age of 12.
